Nice use of shallow depth of field to isolate the subject. I think another good image could be created by cropping the left side, removing the trumpet player. Crop right to the sax player's shoulder. |

Frankly, this image doesn't do much for me, except that the clouds would be great in a composite to replace a "naked" sky in another photo. The hills are too minimized to add much to the image. IMHO |

I might play a little bit with the shadows - just bring a little bit of details, but the more important in my opinion is to crop out about two thirds of the sky. Just scroll up the photo in the browser to hide the top of the sky and you'll see that the image becomes much stronger. And by the way, you've got a perfect exposure of the water, perfect shutter speed. |

Thanks, I probably will burn the light on the top right cover as it doesn't serve any purpose and created some distractions. I didn't touch this one too much except some additional charity to bring up the lady's characters (which Sam doesn't like :-) ). |

My intention was to converge the directions of the eyes and lights but you are right, the highlight become a bit distracting. I will try either darkening it a bit or burn it out all together. Thanks for the comments and suggestions. |

Good eye! I like the boats and the red rope on the second boat breaks the pattern. I would crop out the sky since it's not adding interest to the photo. I would also try to see whether the photo will work in black and white. |

I like the mood you created. Just wished there was a person sitting on the bench to complete the sense of loneliness for me. |

I've tried to crop out the right side as was suggested during the review and it doesn't work. But of course, there are more details on the screen than we saw projected on the wall. It's a beautiful image. I like it. Well done! |
