I use Helicon Software to increase the depth of field of many flower pictures. Sometimes it creates a halo effect, usually not that great. However there are few instances, like this one, where the halo is indeed making the picture more interesting ("it's not a bug, it's a feature" kinda mindset). You can try Helicon Software for free over a month

This illustrates to me how the eye moves around from the top centered flower around to finally settle on the lower flower that is sharp.
