Interesting shot. I like the tail lights. The architecture looks good. All verticals are straight. My only suggestion is to darken the foreground, especially the white lights on the left. Great photo! |

I think this would also make a great second picture with the top cropped. The low-lying clouds to the right make for an interesting paneramic. |

Thanks for your interesting comment. Individual tastes do matter when viewing a photo. The actual brightness inside the observatory was actually much darker than what is shown in the photo. The very faint red lights were on so that people can preserve night vision and still barely make out where they walked. To give you an idea of how dark it was, I was tripping over my own tripod as I was setting up to shoot. I personally like to present my finished photos as close to what I saw as possible; hence, I did not brighten this photo up a lot. I increased the Exposure in Lightroom only enough so that the viewer can make out some details of the telescope. As for angle, there's no accounting for different tastes. I personally really liked this angle, as it allows you to see most of the telescope, the dome, and what the telescope was aiming at. Plus the diagonal strip of the observatory opening adds to the dynamic quality of this shot. |

This is a fantastic photo! I wonder if the clouds were this way or it's photoshop, but at the end it doesn't matter. This image looks perfect. I like the leading line bringing us in the picture and of course the oval blue sky framed with the clouds. Spectacular! |

I like it very much! Great colors. There is a little bit of halo effect on the edge of the yellow. May be that's a effect of overdone clarity or some other technical problem. Nevertheless, it's an excellent shot. Good eye. |
