Critiquing one another s work often gives you a perspective on your own photography that you might not have considered before. As photographers, we often get so invested in what we re doing that we fail to see some small things that can make a photo better. If another person can point this out to us, it can lead to some improvements in our work.

Be prepared to receive advice that you don't like, or don't agree with. If you receive what you think is bad comment, first think about the comment from their point of view. They may well just have a point. However, if you still don't agree, be polite and respectful or better don't reply. Never get into an arguing match with someone who doesn't share your opinion of your photo. It is, after all, only an opinion and everyone is entitled to their own.

I like the reflection of the glass making a sand hourglass shape and the diagonal shadows. Not sure how the lighting was done, since the shadow from the glass doesn't follow the lines, but it doesn't matter. It looks great.

I like the simplicity of this. A sharp edge of the cinnamon and everything else is out of focus. I like the shape of the cinnamon edge. Most likely the image was blurred during the postprocessing, but it doesn't matter. The resulting image looks great!

Interesting pattern. I would try the black and white version - may be it will help.

The B&W composition worked very well. If it was in color, I'm not sure if the comp would work the same way. Nicely done!

I, too, like the texture of the water reflecting the moonlight. The tower's footing has enough detail to make it mysterious.

Great reflection in the window. Interesting composition. I wish the foot of the guy would not point to the girl, but otherwise an interesting photo.

Excellent details in the reflection and the B&W captures the mood of the setting.

Great architectural shot of Met Opera. I like that the verticals are straight and of course, I like the reflections. It would be very beneficial to add title at the time of upload. You can still put them in comments and I'll add them. Great photo!
