Critiquing one another s work often gives you a perspective on your own photography that you might not have considered before. As photographers, we often get so invested in what we re doing that we fail to see some small things that can make a photo better. If another person can point this out to us, it can lead to some improvements in our work.

Be prepared to receive advice that you don't like, or don't agree with. If you receive what you think is bad comment, first think about the comment from their point of view. They may well just have a point. However, if you still don't agree, be polite and respectful or better don't reply. Never get into an arguing match with someone who doesn't share your opinion of your photo. It is, after all, only an opinion and everyone is entitled to their own.

I agree. I added some contrast, some luminance to the green and straightened the verticles. I think it is at least improved.

Thanks for the comments. I noticed after posting that the horizon line is off and I have straightened the original at home.

Love this shot. It quietly and peacefully speaks volumes.

The right side is very disturbing, especially since it's out of focus, but I agree with Jerry - there is no point of interest there. The framing is good, but the photo has to be interesting too.

Yes, definitely a frame, even two frames. I wonder whether this image will look better upside down.

Some as simple as airing out a sheet before making a bed has become a work of art. Very nice shot.

I also agree. I would like to see a little more contrast, either by darkening the wall or opening up the window.
