I see the leading lines from the buildings along the pathway. I would suggest that you try to give the buildings a little more contrast and darken and add details to the rock tiles in the pathway (that would really pull your eyes into the image. Good job! |

There are lines that pull you into the shot and bright starlights are your intended target. First, one way that you can make this good image better is to make the horizontal plane level (the curve to the left makes you feel like the floor is leaning to the right). Speaking of cropping, one way to make the starlights at the end of the tunnel larger is to crop the foreground say at the first curved vertical braces (the extra foreground is empty and not needed in my opinion). Good work! |

It's a good image with leading lines. I suggest playing with more contrast and details on the path and since you lack a person or object at the end, try adding contrast and details to the trees and foliage at the end of the path. so you can see there is something at the end. Good job! |

I like that this is kind of a leading lines shot in reverse. The lines lead you from the soft focused background and point you to the interesting in focus section of fencing in the foreground. Nice shot! |
Woman and Blue Umbrellas in Tulum
I had to crop out a lot of distractions! I would have liked to show more of the foreground for this assignment.I have a ways to go in learning to edit. I know there was a blue sky!

Thanks GordonCh. Once I find the original I can try again. I also want to adjust the colors. |

Thank you. Vignetting would probably help. The crop would leave the trio too centered for my taste. As is obvious, there was not a lot of room to maneuver at the event. |

The strongest leading line is in the arches in the ceiling; you can try cropping tighter from the bottom empty space then my recommendation is to make that back wall contrast and detailed so everything leads your eyes to that wall with the lighted windows all the way up to the point at the top - see how that would work. Also, perhaps tone down the side high lights coming through the windows.. Good work! |

This is a difficult composition for leading lines; if you want to get creative, try darkening the image and just pick one hose and highlight it as it twists and turns (make it a B&W image). Also crop out the board's corner in the foreground left because it's distracting and doesn't add anything to the image. |

You guys have already pointed out how complex this image can be for a leading lines theme but I think you can get something out of this. I zoomed in on the image and I see a bird perched on the last tower of the older bridge. My suggestion to try is, crop out the left (new) bridge and corp some of the right side foreground until you can see that bird - you can start the image at the first tower of the right bridge to get the composition and then try to bright as much detail out of that bird as possible. Try to darken the image a bit because it is very bright. See how that works. |

I agree with SBerzin's comments; a bit too much contrast and the white hole distracts the viewers. Try cropping the foreground out to just before the flossy asphalt area and see if you can recover some colors for the water and sky. Good work! |

I kind of like this comp because of the strong details in the foreground and middle with the fog in the back but a suggestion to try would be to crop out the left and have the floating lines in the water lead you to the moored boats on the right side. |

The sign in the foreground is a strong statement to STOP and that plays against the leading lines that you want the viewers to look at. |
